Nut Allergy
Recently I had an experience on an airline involving my daughter's food allergies. Once aboard the plane, we explained to the staff that our daughter had a severe peanut allergy and if they could make an announcement to the rest of the passengers. We were told there was nothing they could do and that they would be serving peanuts if passengers requested.
As a result, we had to walk up and down the aisle and ask rows of strangers to please not eat any snacks containing peanuts. I created this postcard to help parents in these kinds of situations to better explain the dangers of food allergies.
On the front is a fun graphic featuring a peanut and the back portion contains information on food allergies and the risks they pose to those who have them.
I hope this helps in any environment so that you and your kiddos can feel a little more at ease.
